EPISODE 1.02
Uhh there aren't many members in this comm yet, but i figure we'll try a discussion?
Episode 1.02 is called Fast Time

Uhhh forgive me for the stupid questions, but maybe someone else could lead discussion next week?
POINTS TO CONSIDER:
- Do you think this episode was better or worse than the first episode?
- INVISIBILITY CLOAK!
- How badass exactly IS Kiera on a scale of 1-10?
- Alec! What are our thoughts
- YAY FOR MORE JENNIFER SPENCE
I'm going to be a nerd and put my thoughts in the comments even though i posted this post I hope you all come along after and comment :D

- KIERA DRIVING A CAR!
- I approve of the use of Jennifer Spence and can't wait for the day where she's on team Kiera.
- I still think the jump of 60 years wasn't quite enough to justify the jump in tech? but maybe that's just me. comparing now to 1940's...i dunno
- I also think it was really realistic that they didn't take Kiera's story and bring her into the force straight away - i always hate it when they magically become part of something like the police without background and security checks. It would have been a little anti climatic to just have alec magically put her in there straight away, giving it an episode was good.
- Poor baby Kiera!
- I am actually rather grateful that i don't ship kiera/carlos. I would prefer BFFS for life.
- I hope she gets some new clothes
- TL;DR : \o/ i love this show

**I have to disagree about 60 years not being enough to justify the jump in technology. In less than fifty years we've gone from the first personal work computers to tablets and cell phones that can do just as much as a home computer. And with the canon of Alec working on the liquid chip technology in show - it is possible that the advancement of technology happened that quickly.
And on a related note - based on the end of Episode 101 we have the strongly implied canon that Kiera's trip back in time was remembered by Alec. So what he learns from her, he could have possibly had invented or encouraged the invention of as time progressed? Who knows!
**I love the investigation into Kiera's story! It's that kind of realism that I enjoy in a show. It would take any cop more than just a few minutes to believe a story after it's been proven false. But I also loved that blacked out file Alec created for her too.
**I think I'm kind of starting to one-side ship Kiera/Alec... I mean, has anyone else noticed that Alec seems to constantly have screen saver images of Kiera's son all the time?

Yeah that's a good point, its probably a good amount of time for the advances. I just find it crazy. MY BRAIN CAN'T COMPUTE.
yes i like to think that its a case of all this has happened before/all this will happen again kinda time travel, not butterfly effect time travel.
Kiera/Alec!! TEAM BFFERY. I actually didn't notice that lol. clearly i need to pay better attention
